Staff Announcement:
We are thrilled to announce the return of Coach Mark Rostratter to the Idaho Horsemen for the 2024 season. Mark has played an instrumental role in the success of the team, coaching both the Offensive and Defensive lines, and helped lead the Horsemen to their 2023 AWFC Championship victory.
Coach Mark's background speaks volumes about his dedication to the world of football. With a head coaching stint with the Idaho Valkyries in the WTFL Women's Semi-Pro Tackle Football, where they made a national championship appearance in 2021, Mark proved his leadership prowess. Even though they may have come up short in the championship game, Mark's ability to guide and mentor his players to that level of competition is undeniable.
Mark's journey with the Horsemen includes two years of dedication, resulting in an league championship. His impact on the team's offensive and defensive lines has been invaluable, contributing significantly to our success.
In addition to his coaching with the Horsemen, Coach Mark Rostratter also served as the JV Offensive Line Coach for Meridian High in his first season. This reflects his commitment not only to the professional and semi-pro levels but also to developing young talents at the high school level.
Mark's football journey began in high school, where he excelled as an offensive and defensive lineman at De La Salle High School in Concord, CA. This strong foundation led him to college, where he continued his football journey at Carroll College in Helena, MT.
Mark is also a devoted member of the Meridian community, calling it home for the past five years alongside his wife, Debrorah.
With Coach Mark Rostratter's return, the Idaho Horsemen are poised for another thrilling season.
