We are excited to announce that former Eastern Kentucky University defensive back, Davonte "Buck" Solomon has signed with the Horsemen for the 2024 season.
Buck first signed with the Wenatchee Valley Skyhawks (AWFC) back in 2019 where he first competed against the Horsemen. In 2021, Buck signed with the Oregon High Desert Storm (AWFC) and helped the Storm be the first team to ever beat the Idaho Horsemen after 16 consecutive wins. Buck and the 2021 Storm defense played with ill intent and we are looking forward to bringing this to the Horsemen defense! In 2022, Buck also received an opportunity with the Salina Liberty of the Champions Indoor Football (CIF).
For a little more information, Buck can play on both sides of the ball. If needed, he has the ability to join the Horsemen's AIR RAID offense and it wont miss a beat. He is also a threat on special teams! With the addition of Buck and others to be announced, this year's roster is going to be even more loaded with talent.
